I had the honor of speaking with vocalist Jeff Hawks on the phone and bassist Bruce Hauser in the chat room about the self-titled album Touch, which was released in 1969 and is one of the first albums that laid the groundwork of what we now know as progressive rock. Touch has been lauded by many prog legends as an inspiration, yet nearly nothing is known about this band. You will hear an exploration of the band's roots, the process of making the album, and what happened to the band after they released what was to be their only album. It's the 40th anniversary of Touch, let's celebrate this prog milestone! Big thanks to Smitty for setting it all up!
